Rapper and producer Włodi, active since the beginning of 90s is one of Polish hip- hop’s true pioneers. In 1995, together with Vienio, he founded the legendary group Molesta Ewenement responsible for one of the most significant rap albums of all-time, “Skandal”. In 2009 he formed Parias, a project consisting of fellow rappers Eldo and Pelson. His work with both of the groups had given him four gold certified records.
Włodi had been simultaneously pursuing a successful solo career – debuting in 2003 with the album “Jak nowonarodzony”. Two years later his second solo album "W..." came out. In 2012 he was signed to Step Records where his third solo record, “Wszystko z dymem” was released on September 14, 2014. With features from local collaborators, Mielzky, W.E.N.A., Danny, Molesta and Małpa, the uncredibly well-received album was not only a fan-favourite but also a 10/10 position amongst most of its reviewers. With most of the original production delivered by DJ B, it also featured an exclusive track produced by Evidence from Dilated Peoples.
Molesta's frontman continues his streak with the brilliant album "Wszystkie drogi prowadzą do dymu" (DistrictArea. 2017). An album on which guest appearances include Holak, Otsochodzi, Marysia Starosta, PRO8L3M and Ero, reached the 2nd place on the OLiS bestseller list. This time the host was supported by the Sampler Orchestra and The Returners (in addition to the traditional DJ B).
The last releases in Włodi's discography include the EP "Osad", that came out in November 2018 (Universal Music Poland), as well as a high-profile collaboration with the 1988 producer known from the Syny duo. The fruit of this cooperation is the album "W / 88", which was released in September 2020 by Def Jam Recordings Poland. Currently Włodi is working on a new solo project "HHULTRAS", which is scheduled for release on March 31, 2023.
