Rap History Warsaw Block Party is the first series of events in Poland, which concept is inspired by the history of pioneering hip-hop events that took place in the 1980s in parks and neighborhoods in the New York City. DJs, food trucks, film screenings, merchendise and ofcourse a lot of live music. All of those attractions surrounded by greenery and concrete of a big city as a continuation of the legendary series of Rap Histroy Warsaw events.
At the first edition of RHW Block Party artists like Sokół, PRO8L3M, Jetlagz and OKI performed on a stage specially prepared for this event, located on the site of Progresja's summer garden. Their concerts were preceded by the screening of the film "Something from Nothing: The Art of Rap" directed by Ice-T, and the Elementarz Live Set, performed by DJ Falcon1 and DJ Kebs, which is a musical journey through the history of Polish hip-hop.
