Mielzky (also known as Gruby Mielzky or Mielon) is a rapper from Starogard Gdański and member of the Lavoholics crew. He made his debut in 2012 with the album "Silny jak nigdy, wkurwiony jak zwykle", produced almost entirely by The Returners duo. On the LP released by Szpadyzor Records listeners could find guest appearances by: donGURALesko, Bonson, Diox and RakRaczej (DwaZera). This material has been was very well received, so Mielzky soon prepared another solo title. The album "1.5" LP featured a guest appearance by Pezet and - apart from the standard CD version - was also released on vinyl.
Two years later, in April 2015, Mielzky released a project with the producer patr00, known from the Ortega Cartel crew. "Miejski Patrol" was warmly received by fans and its vinyl version sold out in just a few days. Collaboration with patr00 started a period of interesting artistic partnership with other artists. In February 2017, Mielzky joins forces with Małpa and the duo The Returners, releasing the spontaneous project "Rottenberg" EP. The alternative mini-album was never sold on a regular basis, and was only available for preorder.
Mielzky returned to solo productions in April 2018. "Komik z depresją" was his fifth release, and the single "New Classic", which opened the album, showed that, despite the passage of time, the artist did not lose his authenticity and uncompromising attitude. Many journalists considered "Komik" to be the best LP in his entire legacy.
This was the case until March 26, 2021, the official release date of the album "Do Wesela Się Zagoi". Just the single songs already showed that this is the most sincere and direct of Mielzky's projects so far. The music sphere of the album was entirely produced by the duo The Returners. The neoclassical sound of beats - supported by numerous guest performances by vocalists - as well as gramophone inserts provide the perfect background to the stories told by Mielzky. The album was released by 2020 label.
