Warsaw was the last stop of the True Music global campaign presented by the online music platform Boiler Room and Ballantine's Whisky, with previous events hosted in South Africa, Brazil, Spain and Russia. For the final instalment of the partnership, we produced two events with over 1000 Polish and international guests.
The two-day celebration of electronic music inaugurated with True Music Forum - an international music conference held at Pin-Up Studio. Over 40 panellists, including Kojey Radical, Gaika, Pitchfork's Philip Sherburne and Gosia Plysa of Unsound Festival, were joined in Warsaw by the campaign's global ambassador, Seth Troxler.
The True Music journey officially concluded on the following night, at the unique industrial space of a former military warehouse in Warsaw's Praga district. Seth Troxler and his guests, including Fabric resident Craig Richards and BBC's B. Traits, were supported by the no less exciting local representation of Catz 'n Dogz and Bartosz Kruczynski. The event's highlight was Monika Brodka's performance with a twelve-piece ensemble that until then, had only performed at theatres and philharmonic venues.
